Description

Tamron28-300mm, F8, 1/1600, ISO400 This shot was taken in the dead of winter from the Canadian side of Niagara Falls State Park looking toward the American side, shooting straight towards the Horseshoe Falls. You can see the trees coated with ice from the ever present mist created by the famous waterfall. The mist sometimes blocks the view of the falls but it is is also very common to see a rainbow in the mix making the entire scene magical. I believe that winter is the prettiest season to view Niagara Falls. Currently we cannot cross the border to the Canadian side because of COVID restrictions.
