Thank you all, so much for your kind words and support! Hi Jim, Thanks so much for your lovely comment. So we stayed at Oia , a smaller village compared to Fira ( also called Thera ) . Fira/Thera is Santorini's main town or capital which is like a real tourist place, crowded, congested and busiest. Oia, on the other hand is just a like small, quiet village which gets crowded during the afternoons and evenings when the tourist boats and ships land in hordes to watch Oia's legendery sunset. Those tourists come and go and don't stay there leaving you ample time and space to roam around on Oia's small lanes and corners through out the day to get surprised with views like this and very frequently so :-) . So, my recommendation will be to go before the school holidays ( that is in a normal year :-) ) and stay at Oia . We went in the month of May, few years back. #11810745
