Wow! Thank you, guys, for your all wonderful comments on this image! Because I don’t feel well today, reading your positive thoughts about it made me feel much better ;-).
I took this image two days ago while visiting my favorite place to shoot plants and flowers, The Bellevue Botanical Garden. While taking some photos of those purple flowers I accidentally spotted this little lady bug. She was so fast and smart so every time I try to take a photo of her she was rushing from petal to petal or hiding under it, and finally – before I took this picture – she flew away. Lucky me I got what I wanted before that happened ;-). I am glad you enjoyed this image of a small but very beautiful world! Thank you!

Mette, thank you so much for visiting my gallery and for such kind words about my work! I really do appreciate! I must tell you that with the idea of my photo gallery came from my husband. He put a lot of work into this site setting everything up there by himself. Also my friend, who lives in Poland, designed those special small icons which appear above each photo. He made them just for me. I was thinking about writing there, about adding some information under my photos, but I didn’t find time for that yet. So maybe later? Than maybe this site will be more enjoyable ;-). Oh, and I do not sell my images yet, but I’ve started thinking about it. I have left this thought for the future too ;-).

It never ceases to amaze me at how creative photographers are. It is great to see what others see and opens my eyes to more possibilities. I want to thank you so much for all your wonderful and overwhelming responses on this image, everyone! For the first time I decided to resubmit my earliest entry for the contest, so I am really surprised and pleased it made POTD at BP! A wonderful surprise for me!
I remember that the day I took this photo, I was with my two daughters in the botanical garden and we were looking for ladybugs. After a couple of minutes of searching I found one ladybug hiding on the purple bells and I took three or four photos of her, before she flew away. My daughters weren’t as lucky as I was, so my photo made them a little jealous, but it still one of favorite photos of theirs that their mom had taken. So I am really glad you like it too, everyone! Thank you once again!

This photo was taken with Tamron 90mm Macro lens, 1/320 sec and f/6.3.
