Sunrise at Schwabacher’s Landing, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. The sun had just hit the top of the mountain.
To find Schwabacher's Landing, travel north on Highway 26 (US-89) out of Jackson for 16 miles, past the airport and turn-offs for Mormon's Row (the classic barns). If you travel to the Snake River overlook, you've gone too far. The exit is on the LHS of the road and there's a sign for Schwabacher's Landing. Travel to the end of dirt/gravel road.
There's plenty of parking and public facilities. One classic view is right at parking lot. Keep walking on the trail for 1/4 mile and you'll get to another classic view...the one in this photo. There's also a 3rd "classic view." It's actually before the final parking lot, so if you leave the parking lot headed back to the highway, it's about 1/3rd mile from the parking lot, on the RHS. Just get out of your car and follow the trail.
