I must have missed it last month! It's great!! Did it have the "square" steering wheel? They were kind of rectangular so you could see over them.

Carolyn, I'm not sure if it had a square steering wheel. :-) I don't think I've ever seen a square steering wheel. LOL! I took this at the Plano Fourth of July parade. They had all sorts of neat cars in the parade, from Model T Fords to PT Cruisers.

Connie, I agree that cars with fins are the greatest. I'd love to have a modern-day car with retro features like that. :-)

And I just love the response to this one. When I first showed my husband the original photo and my altered creation, I asked which he liked best. Should have known! He did not like this one. My husband, a newspaper editor and page designer, is a real purist when it comes to altering photographs. :-) Glad you like it! :-) #174658

Wow, thank you all very much. I'm so thrilled about this. It certainly was worth braving the crowds on a very hot, muggy Fourth of July and sitting on the curb with a bunch of kids to capture this car in the Plano parade. :-)

Kathleen, hubby says it's "cool" that I've won with this. Ha! And I'm still not 100% well, but this has certainly brightened my day!
